According to a report by WABetaInfo, a website providing information about the new features of WhatsApp, the QR code scanning feature was first launched for iPhone users. Subsequently, the company is planning to launch feature for the millions of Android users. This feature will be available on WhatsApp version 2.20.171.
Android beta users will be able to find their QR code in the Settings option. There you will get the feature from the QR code in the right side. Users who turn on the QR Code feature in their WhatsApp account will be able to scan the QR Code from another WhatsApp user’s account.
According to the report, it has not yet been told on what date this feature will be released for Android users, but it is believed that in the coming days, the company can launch it for users.
