Two more Lok Sabha Secretariat personnel have been found infected with the corona virus, one of which is a security personnel. Sources gave this information on Friday. With this, the number of infected employees of Lok Sabha Secretariat has increased to 3. Sources said that a class IV employee working in the secretariat was first infected with the corona virus and has been in the house since the postponement of the budget session on March 23.
He said that after the end of the second phase of lockdown, on May 3, when the business started in Parliament, two more employees were found infected with the corona virus. Sources said one is a security staff while another is employed in the editorial and translation service in the Parliament Annexe building. He said that the staff of the editorial and translation service came to office after May 3.

However, the administration of the Lok Sabha Secretariat had made the entire campus infection-free before starting work and is taking all precautionary steps. No employee is being allowed to enter the Parliament House without checking and the vehicles are being made infection free before entering the premises.
Sources have indicated that symptoms of corona virus have also been found in some more employees working in the Parliament Secretariat and other branches and buildings attached to it. It is noteworthy that the government buildings around Parliament House like Krishi Bhavan, Shastri Bhavan, NITI Aayog where many ministries and ministers have offices were sealed for a day or two because of Kovid-19.
