The Pakistan cricket team visited India in 1999. The last Test of the two-match Test series was being played at the Ferozeshah Kotla ground in Delhi. Pakistan were 1-0 ahead in the series and they were looking for a 2–0 clean sweep in the series. In that Test match played in Delhi, Anil Kumble took 10 wickets, creating history in the second innings. The captain of Pakistan at that time was Wasim Akram. Akram has said some important things about this test match. He said that I told Waqar that you play your shots, I will not give my wicket to Kumble. Akram’s plan failed in this match and he too became a victim of Kumble.

Shahid Afridi was dismissed for 41, Pakistan lost the first wicket for 101 runs and then all the remaining wickets fell within 106 runs.
