He wrote, “We have deepest condolences with the families of those who died, wishing for quick recovery of the injured.” A Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) passenger plane crashed on Friday in the commercial city of Karachi, Pakistan. The aircraft had 107 people, including crew members.
According to media reports, PIA spokesperson Abdul Seatti confirmed the crash of the passenger plane and said that flight number A-320 going from Lahore to Karachi crashed. According to the spokesperson, the aircraft had 107 passengers including crew members. According to the report, the security forces and other rescue teams have reached the spot and extinguishing the fire.

An eyewitness told the media that the passenger plane crashed in a residential area near Karachi airport. Apart from this, Radio Pakistan reported that the plane which departed from Lahore to Karachi crashed just before reaching Karachi airport. The aircraft carried 99 passengers. It had eight crew members.

According to Pakistani media reports, the plane fell near the Model Town area near Jinnah International Airport in Karachi, just before landing. After the plane crashed, smoke was seen in the colony. Relief and rescue operations have been started soon after the accident. PIA spokesman Abdul Sattar confirmed the accident and said the plane was coming from Lahore to Karachi.
Both engines failed: Both engines of the PIA’s A-320 aircraft were reported to have failed before landing in Karachi. The ship was 15 years old. The ship was last approached by ATC at 2.37 am. Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has expressed grief over the accident and ordered an inquiry into the accident.
