No international cricket matches have been played since March due to the Kovid-19 epidemic (Corona virus infection). All cricket events and series have been postponed due to the Kovid-19 epidemic, meanwhile the International Cricket Council (ICC) has issued new guidelines to bring cricket back on track. The ICC has asked all member states to follow these guidelines. The new ICC Guidelines are meant to introduce cricket at all levels – community, domestic and international levels. Governments in almost all countries have started loosening the ban caused by Corona, in which case the return of cricket may also happen soon.
The new guidelines have been prepared by the ICC Medical Advisory Committee after interaction with the member medical representatives, whose recommendations are as follows:
1- Appointment of Chief Medical or Bio-Safety Officer to ensure that when the players return to training the government guidelines are followed.
2- Isolation training camp before the match, with 14 days of quarantine before travel with temperature monitoring and Kovid-19 testing.
3- Have a testing plan during practice and matches.
