Corona virus is not going to go away, fighting style will have to change

The world has been battling the Corona epidemic for nearly five months, but scientists believe that the disease will remain a part of our lives for a long time. Therefore, the current methods will have to be changed to fight it.

A report published in the science journal Lancet Infectious Disease states that the identification and prevention of disease through contract tracing is now becoming difficult, so testing strategies will have to be changed.

Actually, the infection of Kovid is continuously increasing and during the last 24 hours a record one lakh new infections have been reported in the world. Initially, when the disease knocked in a country, all those who came in contact with the infected were identified and examined. This is called contract tracing. The Lancet report now considers it to be non-essential and impossible.

A random test report every 14 days says that gradually the herd immunity will be generated in people against the virus, which can be assessed by random testing. This process can be done by continuing economic activities. With such random testing at every location every 14 days, it would be possible to make an actual assessment of the spread of the disease. Until its medicine or vaccine is made, testing in many ways is the only weapon to fight against it.

The report said that large-scale testing is needed. One is RTPCR testing of sick people. Secondly, those who have recovered without treatment should be tested for IgG and IgM antibodies. Random testing of population groups should be done to find out how much the outbreak of the disease is and where it is spreading. Testing of one person in four can assess the disease and prevent the spread.
