Congress leaders sued in UP, Priyanka said – fear not our nature, service will intensify

Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Saturday targeted the BJP government in the state over the arrest of Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee President Ajay Kumar Lallu, saying that his party would not be intimidated by the lawsuits and speed up service. He tweeted, ‘For the last 60 days, UP Congress workers have been working day and night serving migrant laborers and the needy. “The soldiers of the Congress are doing the work of providing ration, food and medicines, providing food and water to the workers and bringing them back home.”

According to him, 67 lakh people have been helped so far by the activism of Uttar Pradesh Congress. Priyanka alleged, ‘It is strange that the UP government, distracted by this service work, put our state president in jail. Our workers have been booked in different districts. He said, ‘Day before, 50,000 Uttar Pradesh Congress workers and leaders showed their solidarity on Facebook Live, yesterday submitted a memorandum to the government in all districts. The litigants may have forgotten that this is Mahatma Gandhi’s party. Service is at our core and fear is not our nature. Will speed up service operations. ‘
