Bihar: Migrants from 11 cities including Mumbai, Delhi, Surat will now stay in the block’s quarantine camp

Due to the Corona lockdown, migrant workers from all over the country are returning to Bihar. This has increased the risk of corona virus in Bihar. The Bihar government has taken a major decision in view of the growing Corona cases in the state. Now migrant laborers coming to Bihar from Surat, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Ghaziabad, Faridabad, Gurgaon, Noida, Kolkata and Bengaluru will be placed in block level quarantine camps.

The government has issued instructions in this regard to DMs and civil surgeons of all districts of the state including Patna. There is a plan to make quarantine camps according to the category of states. Preparation is being done as soon as the order is received. Talking about statistics, till now more than 2.5 lakh people have come from other states. It has a large number of migrants who have come by theft. According to sources, more people have come than paper data. The health department hopes that more than 27 lakh people will come.

Village Quarantine Center
Migrants coming from other regions of the country will be kept in the Village Quarantine Center. They will be kept here and monitored. Officials say the risk of infection is slightly lower in those coming from less affected districts. For this reason they will be kept here.

The most dangerous are coming from Delhi, Mumbai and Gujarat. Preparation is being done to divide quarantine by category. This will be quite a relief, as monitoring will be done easily. Dr. Raj Kishore Chaudhary, Civil Surgeon
