Aligarh Muslim University teachers accused – Corona is being used to divide the society

Corona continues to wreak havoc in the country. Meanwhile, a round of accusation is also on. The Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) Teachers Association on Friday passed a resolution saying that Kovid-19 i.e. Corona epidemic is being used to spread hatred towards a particular community and divide the society.

The association passed the resolution at a special meeting of its executive and sent it to the president. The proposal expressed deep concern over the ways of dealing with the epidemic.

Demonstrating complete solidarity towards the common man, mainly daily wage laborers, the AMU Teachers Association said, “There is no fault of those migrant workers who are returning to their villages and towns from big cities.”

The proposal states, “It is a matter of great sorrow for all of us that the Kovid-19 pandemic is being used to spread hatred towards a particular community.”

Prof. Najmul Islam, Secretary of AMU Teachers Association said, “We believe that the fight against Kovid-19 in the country will be won only when we all fight together.”
